Inside Jacinth

What happens after you hire Jacinth: your application, step by step

From the first consultation to the day you land, here is exactly how we run an immigration application together in the client portal.

Most people hire an immigration consultant once, so the process feels like a black box. It should not. This is the full sequence we follow with every client, and what you will see on your screen at each step.

1. The consultation and your pathway recommendation

The first meeting is a diagnosis, not a sales call. We review your education, work history, language results, family situation and timeline, then recommend the pathway with the strongest chance of success. Sometimes that is Express Entry. Often it is a provincial nomination first, or a study or work permit that builds toward permanent residence. If we do not think you have a viable route yet, we say so and tell you what would change that.

2. Your client portal account

Once you engage us, we create your secure portal account. Everything about your application lives there: the documents we have asked for, the forms to complete, payment requests, your messages with your consultant, and the current stage of your file. You sign in with your email and a one-time code, so there is no password to lose.

3. Documents: what we request and how review works

Your consultant assigns a document checklist tailored to your pathway, each with a due date. You upload files directly to the item they belong to. We review every file and mark it approved, or send it back with a note explaining what is missing. You never have to guess whether something was received or whether it was good enough.

  • Upload PDFs or clear photos; the portal accepts both and keeps the originals.
  • Multi-page items such as bank statements can be combined with our free PDF Compiler before uploading.
  • Approved documents are locked so nothing changes by accident before submission.

4. Forms: IRCC and Jacinth forms in one place

Government forms are assigned to your file the same way documents are. Some are completed inside the portal; others, such as fillable IRCC PDFs, are uploaded once complete. Your consultant reviews each one before anything is submitted, so errors are caught while they are still cheap to fix.

5. Fees and payments

Every fee is raised as a payment request in the portal with a title, amount and due date, so you can see exactly what you are paying for. When you pay, you confirm it in the portal and we verify it on our side. Government fees are separate from professional fees, and we tell you which is which.

6. Stages and messages

Your file moves through named stages, from onboarding through document collection, review, submission and decision. When we move your file, you get a notification, and the stage is always visible on your dashboard. Questions go through the portal messages so the whole conversation stays attached to your file and any consultant on your team can pick it up.

7. Submission and after

When everything is approved, we submit and record the confirmation in your file. Processing times are set by IRCC, not by us, and they change. We keep you informed as the application progresses and handle any requests for additional information the same way as the original checklist: assigned in the portal, reviewed before it goes back.
