In short
- You can move your consultation to another time, free of charge, any time before it starts.
- Cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment and we refund the fee in full if you ask.
- Cancellations within 24 hours and missed consultations are not refunded.
- If we cancel and cannot offer you a new time within 14 days, you get a full refund.
What you pay for
The consultation fee pays for a one-on-one session with a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), by video or phone, and the consultant's time reviewing what you have told us beforehand. The fee and the length of the session are shown on your payment page before you pay.
You pay on Stripe's secure page. After payment we email you a private link to choose your time. The fee is for advice and the consultant's time; it is not a guarantee of any immigration result (see our terms of service).
Rescheduling
Your confirmation email has a link to cancel your booking. Use it any time before the consultation starts and your payment carries over: we immediately email you a new link to choose another time. There is no charge for this.
If none of the available times suit you, reply to your confirmation email with times that work and we will try to fit you in.
Cancelling and refunds
If you no longer want the consultation, cancel your booking with the link in your confirmation email and then reply to that email asking for a refund. If you cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment, we refund the full fee.
If you paid but have not chosen a time yet, you can ask for a full refund at any time within 30 days of paying. After 30 days an unused payment can still be used for a consultation, but it is no longer refundable.
Late cancellations and missed consultations
The consultant prepares for your session in advance and the time cannot be offered to anyone else at short notice. For that reason, a consultation cancelled less than 24 hours before it starts, or missed without notice, is not refunded.
If something outside your control stopped you from attending, such as a medical emergency or a power or connection failure, tell us as soon as you can. We will normally offer one new time at no charge.
If we cancel
If we have to cancel or cannot connect at the booked time, we will offer you a new time. If we cannot offer one within 14 days, or none of our times suit you, we refund the full fee.
How refunds are paid
- Refunds go back to the card or payment method you paid with. We cannot send them anywhere else.
- We issue refunds within 5 business days of agreeing them. Your bank then usually takes 5 to 10 business days to show the money.
- We refund the amount you were charged, in the currency you were charged. If your card is in another currency, your bank's exchange rate and fees may mean the amount you get back differs slightly from what you paid. We cannot cover those differences.
- Once a payment is refunded, the link to choose a consultation time stops working.
Fees for representation
This policy covers consultation fees only. If you go on to engage us to prepare and submit an application, your written service agreement sets out the professional fees, what they cover, the payment schedule and the refund terms for that work. Government fees paid to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) or a province are set by them and are refunded only under their rules.

If you have a question about a payment or think something has gone wrong, please contact us first: info@jacinthimmigration.ca or 204-807-3466. We reply within 2 business days, and most payment questions are settled in one email.
