Visitor Visa for applicants from Bangladesh

• Use the Singapore visa office checklist (IMM 5890, May 2026); residents of Bangladesh must include the Family Information Form (IMM 5707).
• Bank statements or bank book covering the past 4 months, plus employment, pension or business evidence.
• Include a birth or baptismal certificate and, if married, a marriage certificate.
• Visiting family: invitation letter, proof of relationship and a copy of the host's status document.
• The visa office may ask for a medical exam later; you do not need one before you apply. Biometrics at VACs in Dhaka, Chittagong or Sylhet.

Biometrics

Give biometrics (fingerprints and photo) at a visa application centre in Dhaka, Chittagong or Sylhet after paying the biometrics fee; biometrics given for a visitor visa or study permit stay valid for 10 years, and IRCC cannot issue a visa or permit beyond their expiry date.

Medical exam

Bangladesh is on IRCC's list of countries where an immigration medical exam is required for stays over 6 months, so most study permit applicants (and visitors staying more than 6 months, including super visa applicants) need an exam by an IRCC panel physician; your own doctor cannot do it. Find a panel physician.

Police certificate

The Singapore visa office study checklist asks study permit applicants to include original police certificates for each country where they lived 6 consecutive months or longer since age 18. The visitor checklist does not list one upfront. IRCC asks for the scanned original certificate with seal and signature.
