About the new brunswick express entry
Two routes sit under this stream. One needs twelve months living and working in New Brunswick. The other, New Brunswick Interest, needs no job offer at all but depends on the province placing a letter of interest on your federal profile, which you cannot request.
Applying from outside Canada: Reachable from abroad only through the New Brunswick Interest route, and only if the province approaches you first.

Requirements
What this stream asks for
- A valid profile in the federal Express Entry pool
- Aged between 19 and 55, with language at CLB 7
- A high school education and one year of experience in TEER 0 to 3 within the last ten
- At least 67 points on the selection grid
- For the Interest route, federal proof of funds
Programme
The New Brunswick programme right now
Open but heavily restricted. Since 4 May 2026 the province's main experience pathway has invited only health care, education and construction occupations, and New Brunswick says plainly this is because the allocation is running low. It also paused new employer designations under the Atlantic Immigration Program in February 2026.
The Critical Worker Pilot exists but takes no direct applications and serves six named employers. The Private Career College Graduate Pilot runs to the end of 2027 but only for students already registered. The old Entrepreneurial stream has been replaced by Business Immigration, and the in-person exploratory visit connection was paused in November 2024 and is not returning.
