Provincial Nominee Program

Yukon Provincial Nominee Program

Two things make Yukon unlike every other province. The employer applies, not you: the territory states plainly that foreign nationals cannot submit an application and only employers may ask about progress. And the programme runs on short intake windows rather than continuous intake, with just 282 nominations for the whole of 2026.

Both 2026 intake windows have closed. Yukon opened only two: 19 to 30 January and 6 to 17 July, and the final application deadline passed on 26 August 2026. No third window and no 2027 date has been announced. Expressions of interest do not carry over between windows. A public consultation on redesigning the programme closes on 8 October 2026, with changes expected in 2027.

The Yukon Community Program pilot concluded as planned on 30 June 2025. Yukon also states that you do not need to hire an immigration representative to apply, which is worth knowing before anyone charges you for it.
