About the skilled worker with existing work permit
A retention route. Holders of permits under the Ukraine measures, a labour market impact assessment, or Francophone Mobility can qualify in any TEER; everyone else is limited to TEER 0 to 3 or a designated trade.
Applying from outside Canada: Not available from abroad. Open spousal, study and post-graduation permit holders are excluded.

Requirements
What this stream asks for
- Six consecutive months of full-time work, at least 780 hours, with the employer making the offer
- A permanent, full-time job offer with a valid Employer Position Assessment
- Language at CLB 4 where the job is TEER 4 or 5

The worker streams are open, but Saskatchewan permanently closed every entrepreneur and farm pathway on 27 March 2025, and now allocates its 4,761 nominations by sector: at least half to priority sectors such as health, agriculture, trades, mining, manufacturing, energy and technology, and at most a quarter to capped sectors, which open only in short intake windows.
