About the international skilled worker: occupation in-demand
On paper this is the province's one route without a job offer. In practice it is dormant: Saskatchewan states there are no scheduled draws, and the last published selection was on 12 September 2024. The criteria remain published and profiles are still accepted.
Applying from outside Canada: Open from abroad in principle, but with no draws scheduled it is not a live route today. Saskatchewan has not called it closed.

Requirements
What this stream asks for
- At least 60 points out of 110 on the selection grid
- One year of full-time experience in the last ten in an in-demand occupation in TEER 0 to 3
- Language at CLB 4
- An educational credential assessment for foreign education
- Settlement funds and a settlement plan

The worker streams are open, but Saskatchewan permanently closed every entrepreneur and farm pathway on 27 March 2025, and now allocates its 4,761 nominations by sector: at least half to priority sectors such as health, agriculture, trades, mining, manufacturing, energy and technology, and at most a quarter to capped sectors, which open only in short intake windows.
