How it works
About the innovation and tech talent pathway

Applying from outside Canada: Explicitly open from abroad: the province states the one-year experience rule applies whether you apply from inside or outside Canada.

The worker streams are open, but Saskatchewan permanently closed every entrepreneur and farm pathway on 27 March 2025, and now allocates its 4,761 nominations by sector: at least half to priority sectors such as health, agriculture, trades, mining, manufacturing, energy and technology, and at most a quarter to capped sectors, which open only in short intake windows.
Saskatchewan permanently closed all entrepreneur and farm pathways on 27 March 2025: no new applications, no new expressions of interest and no further invitations. Its published draw results are a PDF that has not been updated since September 2024.
