How it works
About the international skilled worker: employment offer
The most reliable Saskatchewan route from overseas. Your employer must first obtain an Employer Position Assessment, and you then validate the offer within ten days. No prior connection to the province is needed.
Applying from outside Canada: Open from abroad with no prior connection to Saskatchewan. There is a non-refundable application fee.

The worker streams are open, but Saskatchewan permanently closed every entrepreneur and farm pathway on 27 March 2025, and now allocates its 4,761 nominations by sector: at least half to priority sectors such as health, agriculture, trades, mining, manufacturing, energy and technology, and at most a quarter to capped sectors, which open only in short intake windows.
Saskatchewan permanently closed all entrepreneur and farm pathways on 27 March 2025: no new applications, no new expressions of interest and no further invitations. Its published draw results are a PDF that has not been updated since September 2024.
